English - The 1000 Year old Boy
In English, we have been reading the story The 1000 Year Old Boy. Our reading has encouraged us to create our own mythical creatures. We have written non-chronological reports that introduce our new creatures to the reader, telling them about their origin, their unusual characteristics and some interesting facts!
Computing - Variables in Games
In Computing, we have been designing, making and evaluating our own quiz games using Scratch. To design our games, we created algorithms and programmed our sprites to respond to a user response. We implemented the algorithms during the making process and tested each other's games to notice anything we could do better. Finally, we evaluated how good our games were and thought about what we might do differently next time.
