Remote Learning

What should my child expect from remote learning?

If your child requires remote learning, work will be set for them via Google Classroom or Class Dojo by their class teacher as soon as is practically possible. We teach the same curriculum remotely as we do in school wherever possible and appropriate. It may be necessary to make some adaptations in some subjects. For examples, Science or Art activities may be different at home due to a lack of specialist equipment but will do our best to find comparable alternatives.

Our main tool for remote learning is Google Classrooms.

Our Key Stage 2 children access the resource within lessons and can also access assignments from our virtual classroom when they are at home.

Bowland and Grizedale Class use Class Dojo to post updates and news for their children and parents. It is also a great way to contact class teachers. Please let us know if you have any questions!
