Last Choir Singing

We are absolutely over the moon to have won our heat in the Last Choir Singing competition! We’re through to the final in June and cannot wait to show off our talent again. All of the children in choir were so brilliant and couldn't thank Mrs Pollitt enough for all of her hard work. Keep your fingers crossed for June!

The whole school were SO excited to have a visit from the North West Stages Rally who brought one of their rally cars and a recovery vehicle to school. Even in the rain, we all loved seeing the inside of both cars and hearing the super loud engine of the rally car!

Children's Worship Conference

Our Nicky Nook delegates had a brilliant time at the Children's Worship Conference today. As well as having a tasty lunch, they also learnt about how to deliver a great worship and completed lots of activities that they are looking forward to showing the rest of the school.

A Very Special Letter!

We were very pleased to receive a letter from the Minister for Schools yesterday, congratulating us on our SATs results last year! (We think Y6 could give him some pointers with his spelling though!)

Harvest Festival

We celebrated Harvest at the Methodist chapel this afternoon with the Worship team, Jo and Mr Elliott. It has a brilliant service and we learnt lots about the message of Harvest. Thank you to anybody who came to share it with us and donated.

Wyre Council Local Democracy Day

We are so proud of our Year 6 children who represented us at the Wyre Council Local Democracy Day today. They were excellent ambassadors for our school and were able to put their questions to the Chief Executive, Deputy Mayor and Cabinet members with total composure and confidence.

National Poetry Day

We had an excellent day celebrating National Poetry Day with the rest of the school. We started our day sharing poetry with children from all of the classes in school and then explored, innovated and performed poetry in a whole school assembly.
