Art - Andy Goldsworthy

Andy Goldsworthy makes art out of natural elements such as twigs, leaves, stones, snow, reeds, and thorns. He sees his practice in art with nature as a collaboration. We have been exploring his art work and having a go at creating our own.

Wonderful Writers

Open Learning

We have loved revisiting our learning in all subjects whilst learning in all areas of our classroom. Can you spot somebody in Reception building an urban area or somebody in Year 2 showing a habitat for a living thing?

Maths - Shape

English - National Poetry Day

We had an excellent day celebrating National Poetry Day with the rest of the school. We started our day sharing poetry with children from all of the classes in school and then explored, innovated and performed poetry in a whole school assembly.

Geography - Human and Physical Geography

We have been exploring human and physical Geography. Can you spot us creating maps, our urban landscapes and our watercolour rural landscapes?

Austin's Butterfly - Drafting Our Work

We have been investigating whether our first try at something can ever result in our very best work. Have a look at our first and last drafts - what do you think? Can you tell which one is the first draft and which one is the last?
