Clitheroe Castle Trip
Bowland Class had the best time at Clitheroe Castle on Monday. We fired arrows at invaders and poured hot sand over the curtain wall and we built our own motte and bailey castles. We also joined S.W.O.R.D. (Society for the Welfare of Rare Dragons)!
Fire Engine Visit
We are SO grateful to Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service who came to visit us, and our friends from Bluebell Class at Calder Vale, with a fire engine this morning. We had such an exciting time exploring the fire engine and even having a go at using the hose!

We celebrated Harvest at the Methodist chapel this afternoon with the Worship team, Jo and Mr Elliott. It has a brilliant service and we learnt lots about the message of Harvest. Thank you to anybody who came to share it with us and donated.
As part of their R.E topic, Bowland class held a toy sale in class and raised £50 to sponsor a farmer through Christian Aid. We are very proud of ourselves!
