Remembering Our Learning

This half term, we were set the challenge of teaching another group of children something we had learnt. We had to tell the group something, show the group something and ask the group to take part in an activity. The children in Nicky Nook and Bowland Class took part in Boudicca themed board games, Spider and the Fly drawing challenges and plant life songs! 

To revisit our learning in History, Miss Taylor challenged us to showcase our knowledge of Boudicca in any way we wanted to. We worked independently using our History books, knowledge notes and knowledge organisers to create some FANTASTIC pieces of work including newspapers, reports, scrolls and stories!

One of the ways we have revisited our learning this half term is using our revisiting floor book. We applied our knowledge of rocks to problem solving questions, vocabulary questions and created our own actions and icons! 

We love using Book Creator to revisit our learning for PSHE. Our myHappymind page is great because we can click to listen to our own voices define our key vocabulary, watch the class act out 'fight, flight and freeze' and hear a talk partner team discuss how happy breathing makes them feel.

In French we have been learning phrases for saying hello, how are you, what is your name and goodbye. We have revisited our learning by practising our French meet and greet song. It is very catchy - enjoy!
