Spring Term

In Science, we have been learning about metamorphosis and the different living things that go through the process of metamorphosis in their lives. To make our learning sticky, we created some different animals to help us remember! Can you guess what animal this is?

We were very excited when Lancashire Police brought 4 police cars to visit us. They showed us the special gadgets that they have inside their cars, how to work a portable speed camera and even let us try on some of their hats!

We loved dressing up as our favourite book characters for World Book Day 2024! We spent our morning sharing our favourite books with other children in the school, reading, learning poems and singing rhymes. 

In forest school this week, we were joined by Mr Slater who helped us to plant some new trees on our hill to help us start an orchard. We worked together to make sure the plants had everything they needed to grow safely and even planted some daffodills nearby to make our grass even better!
