Fundraising
Our children are really keen to make a difference and are always coming up with new and interesting ideas to support our local community.
Year 5 Cake Sale for Ukraine
Some of our Year 5 girls worked together to plan, organise and run a bake sale in aid of Ukraine. With the help from lots of delicious bakes, the girls managed to raise over £100!
Penny Farm Pyjama Day and Dance-a-thon
One of Y6 children came to Mrs. Scholz last year and explained that she had saved up £50 of her birthday money and she wanted to use it to help animals. Together, she and Mrs. Scholz looked for local animal charities we could support and found Penny Farm. Over the school year, each class went to visit the centre, meet the rescued horses and ponies and find out more about the work World Horse Welfare do. Each class planned their own fundraising activity (including a danceathon and a PJs and silly hair day) and together, we raised over £700!
Cake Sale for the Salvation Army
Our children hosted a cake sale to raise money for the Salvation Army. Children from all across school got involved by baking delicious bakes and creating some very persuasive adverts to remind people of what a good cause it is!
